The building sector is responsible for a quarter of the average French person's carbon footprint. It must reinvent its manufacturing methods. Poste Immo's portfolio of 11,300 buildings, twice the surface of La Défense, is a mine of construction elements that could be dismantled. Their good condition deserves to be used in new structures. Could Poste Immo become a materials bank tomorrow? The aim of the project is to show that reuse can be a contextual answer in an heritage context of the Front de Seine. Through the rehabilitation of the Keller pavilion, we propose to prototype the generalization of reuse within Poste Immo's operations. It will be a question of testing, removing obstacles and documenting in order to disseminate each stage of the manufacturing process. When this is not possible, materials from recycling, upcycling or biosourced materials will be used for a virtuous project, designed to validate the highest levels of performance in new construction.
